Here's a mistake in Spanish that is oft repeated. My then teenage sister was dating our very proper next door neighbor's son in Madrid. My sister, trying to communicate that she is very embarrassed, says Estoy muy embarazada. Unfortunately, in Spanish this means I'm very pregnant.
